[pf] viscose rayon?

· I've just hung out the clothes, in the bright late-Monday-morning sun,
and find that our 23yo daughter Ruth has a new pair of trou, made of
viscose rayon.

· I haven't looked it up yet (I'll start with our 1957 Chambers'
Encyclopedia, since I think it existed then - shortly after nylon ), but
from memory rayon came from the cellulose of wood, hemp and other natural
fibres.

· These trousers look like a rough linen; similar colour too - probably
unbleached. They have to be washed in cold water, which I did, plus several
other points which I didn't pay any attention to.

· Any comment?
