I agree with Priscilla 100 percent.  Nader is declaring forthrightly that
the emperor has no clothes.  Everything in the lives of the sincere liberal
Democratic Party (still) faithful, who like the far right tend to live in
the ideological past, is negated by Nader's experience, perception and
articulate, nonplussed description.

In human development processes -- be they subtle and observantly
meditatative or vigorously confrontational -- the pattern of distressed
feeling/thinking/acting that has victimized the individual invariably pulls
out all stops in its own defense when it is being effectively interrupted
from holding its unquestioned sway.

There is reason for optimism, here.  And also for prudent alertness to
dangers.
