Re: [pf] Rachel Carson, loner.

Rachel Carson is from the area in which I live (there's a wonderfully rugged 
trail named for her). I have done some light research on her, and there is a 
wonderful children's book about her -- can't remember the author, but I'll 
bet there aren't too many children's biographies of her.  She was quite a 
woman.

Edward Abbey is from my town (Home, PA).  I'm going to do a sermon on him in 
the late spring.
