I think I received this message when it was originally sent.
I also use Google almost exclusively. Works very well. The order in
which you place the search terms is important. E.g., "gardens plants
maine resources" (4 terms) gives different results than "maine gardens
plants resources."
I've also found a free research resource that does your on-line research
while you do something else and reports results to you when it's done.
It also will update your research every week, e-mailing you if it finds
new resources. It's called Karnak: http://library.karnak.com/ It also
offers fee-based research, but I've done fine with the free version so
far. Most of the results for my searches have been on target, but if you
get wacky results, Karnak will help you formulate your search request to
get better results.
