allows us to explode space." This, as Wolfgang Pauli once said, is not 
even wrong. 

The "m" in Einstein's equation refers to mass. Space is a near 
vacuum--that is, it contains very little mass, about 1 hydrogen atom per 
cubic yard, on average. These atoms do not just explode -- they just 
whiz around. Einstein's equation *does* allow you to cause matter to 
release huge amounts of energy--i.e. the atomic and hydrogen bombs--but 
these take enormous amounts of energy, and in any case it's not "space" 
that's exploding, but matter.

Moreover, it's impossible to "explode space." You can't destroy space. 
Space is...space.

I'm sorry, but this author, Nathan Batalion, does not appear to have 
much understanding of what he's writing. He also seems intent on 
misrepresentation for the sake of scaring readers. Why, therefore, 
should we give this web page any credibility? 

I ask seriously, not sarcastically.
