The above is a web site for the Council on Economic Priorities, which I just
discovered today through the Real Goods Solar Times newsletter. The council
describes itself this way:

"Next time you shop, why not buy a brand that will protect the environment.
Fight child labor. Support equal rights for women and minorities in the
workplace. Buy a brand that will support your beliefs.

For more than three decades, the Council on Economic Priorities (CEP) - a
non-profit research organization - has been mobilizing and informing
concerned consumers to do just that. Our research and reports have garnered
international acclaim. We've helped hundreds of thousands make choices to
support companies whose policies and practices they like - and avoid those
they don't."

The particular part of the web site I've linked you to above is the actual
list of their "winners"

Anybody know how accurate this group is in its research?
