[pf] a family

· I keep mentioning the people who live under the same roof with me; we
make it continue working by using the model of flatmates - unrelated people
sharing accommodation: different bedrooms, common eating and relaxing areas.

· However, I am in the process of acknowledging that we _are_ a family.
This morning I was listed among the three things (the others being a
particular piano and a general cat) which Ruth has considered doing
without, e.g. to live in Switzerland, but she currently believes she can't
do without them/us.

· Given her great independence, freedom and experience, I am very honoured.
