I want to echo David's question, Nan, how is it that you know so much about
what "folks" believe and why they act as they do? What gives you the amazing
temerity to analyze and categorize the beliefs of so many people you have
never met nor talked with? I am growing weary of the incredible
over-generalizations and over-simplifications, often going far over the line
into stereotyping, that almost every post of yours contains about some group
or other--if it isn't Christians, it's environmentalists, scientists,
activists, Southern Baptists, etc. etc. etc. What exactly is it that you
think this contributes to understanding, compassion or the finding of common
ground? Or what *is* your purpose in persisting in this offensive kind of
commentary on other people's beliefs and behavior?

to idle through one park in two weeks than try to race through a dozen in
the same amount of time.
