When he was a young man in business, Dee Hock says he was the bloodied sheep.
He still considers himself a sheep. (Chapter 3: Birth of the Chaordic Age,
1999)
Hock tells how kuleano, balance, leads to organizational success. (p. 298) He
tells how to turn around our corrupted system from its obscene inequalities,
environmental destruction and moral decay. Fine book!

Fundamentally, we have an institutional problem. Until we understand and deal
with it, all of our societal problems will get progressively worse. Above all
else, we will never deal with it until we realize it is not a problem at all
but an unbelievable opportunity.
