Whoa!  Actually, I was talking about Texans, especially some Texas Christians.  
They puzzle me.    Why are they such bullies?

It seems they feel the victims drowning in a rising tide of immorality.  So 
they flail the water more desperately.   Uncertainty and crisis, the moral 
equivalent of war.
