Priscilla, they actually said more than this, which was that these
larger vehicles also are involved in fewer accidents. Have a look at

"'When a big car crashes into a little car, the little one is going to
have more damage,' Mr. Grant [State Farm chief actuary] said. 'But the
big cars, maybe because of the way they are designed with more
visibility or the way they are driven, are not involved in as many
accidents as the smaller cars.'"
(And maybe smaller cars make more of an effort to stay out of their
way.)
