I am just returning from a week away and am catching up on my e-mail.

Betsy,  your class sounds wonderful.  I think that this kind of education is 
much needed, because so many people take the status quo for granted, that all 
of this is somehow working in their best interests.  Do you have a syllabus 
that you would mind sharing?  A woman in my congregation is teaching American 
Studies in Indonesia next semester, and she would like resources on this kind 
of thing, as many over there are afraid that globalization will leave them 
behind, and that if they do not adopt consumerism, they are missing something 
important. I would like to share some resources with her.  Any others of you 
who have suggestions, I would welcome them.

And all this time I thought that the process with the dots was called the 
Damned Dot Process.
